9 Additional Rights for California Residents

The California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") grants specific rights to your Personal Information to residents of California. CCPA establishes the following definition of Personal Information: “information that identifies, is related to, describes, is possible to be associated with, or can be reasonably linked, directly or indirectly, to a particular consumer or household”. "Personal Information" does not include: (i) public information from government records; (ii) anonymous or aggregated consumer information; (iii) information excluded from the scope of the CCPA.

9.1 Personal Information collected by Biblionario

In particular, Biblionario has collected, “sold” and disclosed the following categories of personal information of its users in the last twelve (12) months: (i) identifiers (such as name, email address, IP address, among others) ; (ii) categories of Personal Information reported in literal e) of section 1798.80 of the California Civil Code; (iii) internet activity of the users; (iv) geolocation; and (v) deductions on users' personal preferences and information. However, we have not collected, “sold” or disclosed in the last 12 months the following categories of Personal Information mentioned in CCPA: (i) Protected classification characteristics; (ii) commercial information; (iii) biometric information; (iv) sensory information; (v) professional or employment information; and (vi) information on educational level.

We expressly declare that we will not collect additional categories of information (mentioned in this section and in the detailed information in section 2 "Information we collect") or we will use the information collected for materially different purposes, not related or incompatible with those mentioned in section 3 "Use of Information by Biblionario " without giving prior notice.

9.2 Additional rights and options

CCPA grants specific rights to your Personal Information to California residents. This section describes these rights and establishes how to exercise them.

(i) Access to specific information

You have the right to request that Biblionario disclose certain information to you about your Personal Information collected and used in the last twelve (12) months. You have the right to request Biblionario to erase any Personal Information that we have collected and retained, except for certain exceptions mentioned in CCPA. Once your request has been received and confirmed (see section 9.3 i) "Exercise of access rights and deletion of data"), we will proceed to delete your Personal Information unless an exception is applicable.

(iii) Right of exclusion - "I do not want my personal information to be sold"

CCPA gives California residents the right to opt out of Biblionario's personal information not being sold .

Biblionario does not "sell" the Personal Information of our users in the way that most people usually understand this term, but in the broad way in which CCPA defines the term "sell". However, we do allow some advertising partners to collect information about consumers through our games and our website for the purposes detailed in section 3 of this Privacy Policy.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to instruct us not to "sell" your Personal Information at any time (right of exclusion). To exercise this right you (or your legal representative) can send a request by:

You can only request a Verifiable Data Access Request twice in the 12 month period. The request must:

It is not necessary to create an account with us in order to send a Verifiable Request. In turn, we will only use your Personal Information submitted in a Verifiable Request to evaluate and comply with said request.

 

There are other ways by which you can control the personal information we collect. For example, you can disconnect your Facebook account from our games, or delete our applications from your device. Also, you can reset your advertising identifier or you can choose not to receive personalized ads / interest-based advertising from Biblionario or its advertising partners through your device (see section 13.3). ii) Response time and application form, for California residents

Biblionario makes its best efforts to respond to a Verifiable Request within forty-five (45) days after receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and the extension period.

Any disclosure we provide only covers the 12-month period preceding the Verifiable Request. In the event that we are unable to comply with a request, our response will explain the reasons for not doing so.

We will not charge a fee or price to process or respond to your Verifiable Request, unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

9.4 Nondiscrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by law, we will not: (i) deny you services; (ii) we will charge different prices or rates for the services, including through the granting of discounts or other benefits, or the imposition of sanctions; (iii) we will provide a different level or quality of services; (iv) we will suggest different prices or rates for services or a different level or quality of services.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Biblionario may charge a user a different price or rate, or provide a different level or quality of goods or services, or offer rewards and incentives, if that difference is reasonably related to the value provided to the user. user by the value of user data.

13.3 Right of Exclusion for California Residents

14. PRIVACY FOR MINORS

Our Services are aimed at a general audience, and not aimed at minors.

14.1 COPPA . Biblionario does not intend to collect personal information from children under the age of 13 ("Personal Information of Minors") in a manner that is not permitted by the United States Children's Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA", for its initials in English).
